The same swim we also saw a turtle that swam below us and then joined us on the surface for around 20 seconds before diving and swimming off again. This is not an every day occurrence... we clearly go very lucky. In general the beach is beautiful, clean and well maintained and the sea generally crystal clear. However, it is prone to oil slicks from Fujairah ships so it migh knete t be worth calling in advance and checking sea quality before driving any long distance.
